You’d think that Audible could provide its subscribers with a table of contents when they buy a book like this.

Want to find one of your favourite poems of Cohen’s that you KNOW is in “Book of Longing”? Too bad! You’ll have to guess which one it is amongst the 187 poems—divided here into chapters with no other info whatsoever. “Oh, thanks, Audible! I’ll just go get the hardcover version I have on the shelf which has the titles of the poems. How convenient!”

Cohen’s performance is, of course, perfect, featuring great close-mic’ed recordings of his croaky baritone of his later years.
