A Hidden Gem

A former cop, now bookstore owner, Cliff Janeway seeks justice as well as a valuable book collection through the streets of Denver. Today it’s difficult to say any plot is unique, but author John Dunning certainly creates enough surprising turns to capture the reader from first to last page. Not a cosy mystery— more Hammett than Christie—but it’s not a book where the reader is wading through buckets of blood. This is a great addition to any reading list.
