Publisher's Summary

Appearances...

A sad, strange coincidence...that's Dr. Kacey Lambert's initial response to the deaths of two women who bear an uncanny resemblance to herself. It's not like there was any real connection between Kacey and the B-movie actress or the elementary school teacher. But Detective Selena Alvarez suspects otherwise.

Can Be...

One of the bodies contained traces of poison at the time of death. Selena and her partner, Detective Regan Pescoli, can find no motive for murder. But Kacey has started to notice ties between the dead women's lives and her own - all close in age, born within miles of each other. And all have links to Trace O'Halleran, the man Kacey just started dating.

Deadly...

The deeper Kacey digs, the more reason she has to fear. More look-alikes are dying, and the killer is getting bolder and more brutal. And Kacey knows it's only a matter of time before hers is the next name on a list of those who were born to die....

Yawn

Endless family interactions that added nothing to character development or the story. More than prior books. Narrator is top notch.

Sooooo long

I was really looking forward to this book after reading the description. Unfortunately though I didn’t check for reviews. This was soooo hard to listen to. It’s so long and drawn out and the different voices used by the narrator are horrible. I have been listening for hours and nothing has happened yet and I have over 10 hours to go. I’m not sure I’ll make it....

Too boring for words.

I've tried to listen because I like Lisa Jackson and I thought it was a new book by her. Audible sent out an email saying this book was 'now available' and silly me, I didn't do my research. It's a 2011 book that I guess Audible just got. It's definitely not new. But between the horrible accents (we're talking the worst 'down home country' accents) and cranky cowboy and just plain boring boring boring, I can't listen any more. It's going back.
