While listening to this book, I felt like I was watching a movie. In fact, it would make an awesome movie. It is a story of grit, survival, and a life spiralling toward jail for the author. The first six chapters I kept thinking "this guy is gonna end up dead". Except I have met the author, and I know he is alive and doing extremely well. The turnaround is absolutely remarkable, but therein is the lesson. Actually, there is lesson after lesson after lesson. If you like great inspirational quotes, this book has them galore.

The author is also the narrator, and he delivers in a voice that is engaging and believable. I listen to a lot of Audible books ... halfway. I have finished only about 2% of the books I have downloaded because I zone out while driving. Not this book. I finished all three hours driving to and from work in just three days. The story is so engaging that I just wanted to know what happened next.

If you are an aspiring entrepreneur or an established business person, this book is a must-read.
If you are in a bad place—and we have all been there at some point in our lives—read this book now.
I might just listen to it again.

If you’re wanting a book that will captivate you and also provide hundreds of golden nuggets, this is your book! So much perspective in how being an athlete is comparable to business! Story line was great and was easy to follow with! I will be relistening to this again because my mentor taught me that “notetakers are money makers”. And this is a VALUE-packed book!
