Publisher's Summary

If I thought working for one Fae fixer was hard, working for two should be great.

Jack Frost stole me away from Avilion for more than kicks and giggles: Someone is plotting an attempt on Queen Nicnevin's life, and I'm just the dryad to help hunt down the assassin.

But the underworld of Annwyn holds more than just knives in the shadows - it holds the secrets of my past and future.

With the Wild Hunt running...well, wild, and the tensions rising between my two bosses, I might find far more than I bargained for in the world of the Unseelie.

And when the knives come out to strike...I'd better not be in their way.

Contains mature themes.

Almost an interlude- but still good

At one point in this story the Main character gets pissed off that her time has been “wasted” as she’s been misled. This book is a little like that.

The overall mystery doesn’t advance much, but the background story of our main character and her relationships do.

I definitely enjoyed the book- but felt it was a bit weak on plot. I was entertained though!

I am not thoroughly pleased with the reader’s performance of Jack. It seems to waver a bit from a high handed, upper class male voice to a fussy female governess. So at times it’s very difficult to understand who’s speaking until after the fact.

More effort required there to pin that character down.

Still, it’s a nice beach read that shows us a different part of the world created by this author.
