"Christopher Paolini is a true rarity."—The Washington Post

Oaths sworn . . . loyalties tested . . . forces collide... Eragon is the greatest hope to rid the land of tyranny. Can this once simple farm boy unite the rebel forces and defeat the king? Following the colossal battle against the Empire's warriors, Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, have narrowly escaped with their lives. Still, there is more adventure at hand for the Rider and his dragon, as Eragon finds himself bound by a tangle of promises he may not be able to keep.

When unrest claims the rebels and danger strikes from every corner, Eragon must make choices—choices that will take him across the Empire and beyond, choices that may lead to unimagined sacrifice.

Gerard Doyle has become my favorite narrator.

I love Gerard Doyle, his voice is so flexible. From the rough voice of the dragons to the soft yet sometimes spiky sounds make by the elves, he really knows how to use his vocal chords to good use. I've read the inheritance cycle before but this experience was otherworldly. Kudos to Christopher Paolini for this masterpiece.

a wonderful continuation of this magical journey

love the entire story so far however brisingr and eldest both had some severe gaps in the audiobook of missing time almost like the app crashed and restarted further into the book.

Brisngr and the Eragon series are definitely a must listen!

Christopher Paolini is a wonderfully imaginative author. I’m in love with the Eragon series. I’ve read all the books but love listening to them even more. Gerald Doyle does a great job with the voices. #Audible1

Addicted

I have now purchased a hardcover collection of Inheritance. Due to the desire to read on the go I have downloaded the series as E-books. With the time restraints of life and to make work more bearable I recently listened to the entire series as Audiobooks. I can never get enough of them. I will continue to experience them over and over again.

pulled at some heart strings

when Oromis told Eragon about his parentage and Saphira shared the memory she had been holding for him, that really felt bitter sweet. Oromis in his prime would have swept the floor with them all if not for his illness 🧝🏻‍♂️

Perfect Series

Perfect. There's no way else to explain this.. it's trumps every other story, and I'm just craving more and more. Gerard Doyle is a MASTER at narrating. It's going to be hard to listen to any other narrator after him. I would spend $100's to read more from this story and I can't wait to re listen to it all again. Thank you both for such an amazing experience. 5 Stars all the way around
