Publisher's Summary

Heartless. Ruthless. Stone-cold killer.

That's me. I destroy anything in my path to get what I want.

Then she showed up. Olivia Bell. She's sweet and innocent and in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now she's mine. My property. I own her. Given to me as a bargaining chip.

She's not a part of my plans, but plans change. Her pouty lips and gorgeous curves beg me to break her. Taking her lush, curvy body and ravaging it for all it's worth would be easy, but I want to earn her submission. It's addictive. I want it. I want her.

They wanted me to break her. I am. And I'm enjoying it. Now they want to take her from me.

Over my dead body.

Let them come for us. I'll kill them all.

By the time I'm done, everyone will know. She belongs to me.

This is a dark romance. A full-length stand-alone novel with HEA.

Falling for her Captor

This was not what I expected. Olivia witnesses a murder and is capture by criminals. She is then put into sex slavery. Her captor, Kade is responsible for training her to be a sex slave. He says he doesn't want to hurt her but he clearly manipulates her into trusting him. Olivia is even aware that he's doing it but she still seeks his approval because he is her only ally. It is then revealed that Kade has some other responsibilities (No spoilers) and I found myself wondering how he was allowed to get to far in.

This is a really dark romance. I was almost argue that Olivia isn't in love but has Stockholm syndrome and Kade is infatuated with Olivia. The two don't really know each other. I think the title is accurate because he broke her like someone would break a wild horse. But at least he realizes that he doesn't deserve her. As much as I loved this dark and gritty story, I was kind od hoping that Olivia would move on and be happy without Kade. This is something I felt really emotionally invested in even though I disliked Kade.

I love Jacob Morgan, I wish we could have heard more from Kade. Muffy Newton really understood the characters and the story. The both gave solid performances.

Wild ride

Love stories aren't always hearts and flowers, sometimes they start with being abducted unto a sex slave trade.

It's true this story is unconventional but it was exciting, thrilling, scary, fun... and so much more. I loved every second that Willow Winters put into this book. I can't wait to listen to more of her audios.

Jacob Morgan and Muffy Newtown are ALWAYS a good idea for narrators. They are narration experts and I never have a bad word about either.

Not great!

I knew what this book would be about when I bought it but there’s just no story there. Olivia is a super weak and whiny lead that just got on my nerves. I understand Stockholm syndrome but she didn’t even get to know Kade. He never got to know her. Yet they fell in love? They never even described what Olivia looked like. Just a really weak story.

Jacob Morgan was the reason I kept listening

Honestly, the heroine seemed a bit to unrealistic and sometimes whiny. There didn't appear to be any reason for her to have "insta-love/lust" for him when she witnesses a murder and is kidnapped. Within minutes of a bullet to the head, by a man she does not know but obviously knows is not good, both is in shock and awe of him. What? Afraid of the other me but he somehow turns her on that much. It was an int

Non-consensual with weak female lead

First, let’s be clear. I like BDSM books. But this book crossed a huge line for me. The guy fucking kidnaps her and emotionally damages her until she submits to him. And she is so weak and pathetic the whole time. Hello, submission is way hotter is the woman submitting actually has the power to not submit if she wants. This female lead is a whimpering dishrag. And the guy is amoral. I felt bad even listening to his book, but I got through the whole thing, maybe hoping she would get herself together and be strong. Nope. I wanted to smack her and be like “wake up!” I really can’t get into a story that is basically about abduction and emotional manipulation. Gross.

I love these two narrators

I love just about everything these two narrators read but I wasn't sure what to expect when I went into this story, luckily it ending up exceeding my expectations. Kade is not an easy character to love but by the end of the book I wanted nothing more than him and Olivia to end up together.

Thumbs up

This story went a little to fast for me...right off the bat all hell broke loose with Olivia, but i felt as if there wasn’t enough back story of Kade’s life. The scenes just seemed to jump to quickly and pieces were missing...there didn’t feel like enough longing for each other. However...the scene between Olivia and the Masters that night was SUPER HOT!! i wish the ending was a little more drawn out...i didn’t understand his need to watch her but be so standoffish. Overall the book was good...the x-rated scenes were scorching hot!! Thumbs up!

Not for everyone...

If you are not into complicated relationships, bdsm, or aggressive alpha males in your readings then go ahead and save your credit. I really enjoyed this book. A lot of the reviews I read felt there was no foundation where love grew, a lot agreed Olivia suffered Stockholm syndrome. I had to listen to the book a second time and I think their love grew in between the time span they spent training. The timeline in this book will skip to days later into the next chapter. Olivia recaps what they had done and I had to rewind to catch what they did but it was just a short description. I believe in these moments we leave it to our imaginations to believe love grew with their time together. I don't think Kade was a bad man, in the very beginning in was stated that he sought to finish what he started. I didn't see him as her captor, I truly felt he really was doing the best he could in a bad situation. The ending was bittersweet but it couldn't have ended any other way. It was a very good concept, as complex as it was, Winters did a decent job making sure it didn't become a complicated read. It is a fast pace book and it left me wanting more details, especially when it came to the sex. The ending was rushed but overall it made sense and had a HEA.

Decent dark romance

I liked if you are into dark romances. However, the ending left a lot of questions.
