Publisher's Summary

Nothing is what I thought it was. Not even me.

Everything changed the night I ran from Uncle Clint. And everything changed again the night he tracked me down.

The four alphas who’ve each claimed me as their mate kept their promise to protect me. They came for me. They saved me. For one beautiful, blissful moment, the five of us were united, joined more closely than I’ve ever been with anyone.

And then, in the space of a single heartbeat, my world turned upside down.

Witches threaten the borders of shifter lands, insurrection brews within the packs, but the greatest danger of all might come from...me.

Will my potential mates accept me now that they know the truth?

Or will our bond be broken before it even has a chance to fully form?

Broken Bond is the second book in the Claimed by Wolves series, a reverse-harem paranormal shifter romance. It contains cursing, violence, growly alpha males, steamy sex, and a heroine who finds her strength in the midst of it all.

So good!

Callie Rose always picks great narrator's for her books. This was not a disappointment! I can't wait for the next narration! No book spoilers from me.

difficult

the narrorators were great! no problem there. this book is just difficult for me to listen to because the MC is such a baby and can't control her emotions. I myself hate timid female characters. she can't handle anything but sex. she's demanding and all about sex (even though she's a virgin?)... but everything else she can't deal with. it's exhausting to read.

Engaging

The ending was a bit of a shock and I love that about a book. This is definitely 18+ with graphic sex scenes.

Speak up

I like the plot but everytime she goes to speak up she winds up in bed with one of the guys. Then she acts clueless like she doesn't know what happened. It's exhausting

A Decent Audiobook

I Give this Book a 3.5-4/5 Star Rating, Listing as 4.

Cliffhanger(?): Yes
Relationship Type: RH> Reverse Harem, MFMMM
Romance: 4/5
Heat: 3.5-4/5
Drama: 3-3.5/5
Suspense: 3.5/5
Dark(?): No.
I gotta say the one thing that I’m not really a fan of with Sable is not really a coward but she is, she’s weak but yet she’s not. She feels (to me) like a very inconsistent character, she feels like an adult-child/mature & immature at the same time.
I actually had to look at the chapter titles to remember how many males were in the harem: Dare, Ridge, & Trystan have a bit more attention in the POV area as well in the book itself, Archer has only 2 POV’s in this book and in the book itself he’s almost forgotten at times it seems like, therefore I almost forgot he was actually a member in the RH at times. I hope in the next book he gets more of a spotlight on him.

Formats Read: Audiobook
Audiobook Rating: 3/5
Overall: 3.5-4/5, Listing as 3.
Performance: 3.5/5
Story: 3.5-4/5
While I really enjoyed C.J. Grey’s male voices, I personally wasn’t a have of his voicing of Sable at times.
Lia Holland is a decent voice for Sable but she has her sounding little bit older than Sable actually is, so to me it as bit a of contrast to her being younger. So therefore it’s a little confusing.

Coming into her own

Sable just found out that she is a witch and trying to come into her own as a wolf. Her mates Trystan, Ridge, Archer, and Dare are trying to deal with their feelings about Sable. Will these four come together to help Sable in her transition and be there for her as she finds out who she truly is. Love this book and can’t wait to see how this series ends.
