I felt I had a good understanding of John Daloney from his podcasts/socials/videos, but he gave new insights and spoke with vulnerability during this book that helped me see him as both a teacher and a human.
We can all do better and we all fall down sometimes.
I'll listen again and I'm sure to gain even more from it on round 2, or 4 or however many I go through. I think the advice is timeless and he shares a ton of resources also.

There were lots of good ideas about how we can improve the way we execute our life but he doesn’t get into how to change our mindset. It felt more like creating the change in our behaviour and less about creating a change within us that ultimately results in changed behaviour. I disagreed with a few ideas he brought up, mostly about relationships, and I felt his delivery was depressing. Talks a lot of how the world is messed up. I finished the book not feeling encouraged.

amazing roadmap for building a non anxious life, excellent read/listen for anybody, especially those struggling with high anxiety alarms, this book is full of tools on how to be whole while going through them. awesome read, buying a hard copy as well!

there were moments in this book that really made me stop and reflect, especially the chapter on mindfulness. It's a very practical and impactful read. The narration kept my attention from start to finish. couldn't put it down. Thank you Dr. Deony

John does an excellent job of translating research and his professional expertise into real life words for real life people. I’m so glad he narrated this because he clearly cares deeply about the subject matter and is very engaging. The content was relatable and eye-opening and very honest - worth the listen if you feel your life isn’t peaceful!

I was hoping for more. possibly I'm not getting the message . I didn't get a lot out of the entire book I prefer self help that picks me up.
