Still married.

Those words change everything.

Now my should-be ex-husband, Ramsey Stockton, the former pro football star turned felon and hero who left this town—and me—behind years ago, is at my door offering me a deal with the devil.

If I let him stay and play his wife again for ninety days, he’ll give me a quiet divorce and his family ranch—the one my inn is on. When I scoff at the idea, he offers a million-dollar bonus to help my business float through this rough patch, but only if I’m his.

Then he’ll walk away, and I can walk down the aisle with my fiancé. Or I can say no and watch everything I’ve worked so hard for fall apart.

There’s only one answer I can afford to give him. But he knows everything about me—every hurt, every secret, and every single weakness I have, including him.

While Ramsey might want me, his brothers want him back in the family business. If there's one universal truth in this town, it's that Stockton men stop at nothing to get what they want.

I think this was my first book by Maggie Rawdon, but it certainly won't be my last.
I loved the darker side of this small town romance with the whole bad boy image wrapped up in a second chance. It was full of delicious tension and all the small town vibes you could want.

I will always be a big fan of duet narration. I feel like its been a while since I have listened to Aiden Snow but he sure delivered on this one!

I'm a new Maggie Rawdon fan

The pacing of the story as the overall plot was great. Loved that it was a duet narration and the voice actors were amazing, especially Aiden Snow. Think he’s my new favourite male voice actor 🔥 excited to see where this story goes as the future story lines were hinted at throughout the book and not just the cliff hanger at the end.

Captivating story and narration

Outside of the ludicrous proposition from Ramsey to Hazel, I could have gotten on board with the world at Bull Rush but lots of time was spent on menial moments instead of providing more of a story line to round out the plot. So many side characters without much weight behind their stories, perhaps that is coming but I don’t think I’ll continue on the series to find out.

The female narrator was good as well as the male narrator - the spicy scenes between them were hot but the last 4 hours of this book were a grind for me to finish.

This one didn’t hit for me…

I really enjoyed reading Bull Rush and the audiobook was even better! Ramsey and Hazel’s young love is the real deal and I love the way Ramsey plows back into her life and reminds her how much they need each other. I can’t wait for book 2, Dark Horse.

A great rekindling!

Ramsey fucking Stockton. You were absolutely worth the wait for audio 🥵
This book was so good.
Given I read book 2 first some of it was spoiled but honestly it was still so so good! These Stockton men really are their own breed and fucking love it.

The male narrator did such a good job bringing Ramsey to life.

Hazel and Ramsey are oh my gosh, the way they just push each other and have such a love hate relationship with each other because they love each other so much but then I hate that they love each other still and they just like to push each other and torture each other. Honestly Maggie Rawdon is hitting it out of the park with this series.

Ramsey Stockton was even better in audio!
