I’m a fan of the author, but this audiobook missed the mark. Good as a read book, but for some reason didn’t translate well into the audiobook.
Pacing seemed to miss the connection that was delivered between the characters in the previous books of the series.

This is a good book but there isn't as much emotional layering as there is in the first 2 books. Therefore, the couples relationship doesn't seem as passionate or burning with chemistry. The mystery isn't overly complex but it is written well and held my attention. If the male narrator's female voice was more believable, I would have been more immersed in the book. Over all, it's interesting especially considering the series basis. I just wish I felt more passionate about this brother's story.
