Publisher's Summary

In this bundle, we take a deep dive into the lives, successes, and failures of some of the most successful (and wealthiest) men on the planet.

What makes them different? What is it about them that makes them super-achievers? You will discover all of that and more.

What is it about Jeff Bezos that allows him to change the way the entire world shops (and become the richest man on the planet in doing so)?

How does Elon Musk go from working in the fires of a toxic furnace to leading the charge in space travel?

How did Steve Jobs create and lead what would later become the world’s first trillion company?

Did Bill Gates (the richest man on Earth for nearly two decades) really steal technology?

How did Jack Ma, who was denied a job working at Kentucky Fried Chicken (and was the only one of 24 applicants not to get hired), start the company that would later set the record for the largest IPO in the history of the New York Stock Exchange?

We will even show you how Richard Branson might not be as rich as people think. He is, in fact, richer.

All of these questions are answered. All of these myths are debunked, or truths verified.

Don’t wait any longer! Download now to discover more about some of the most successful businessmen and world-changing innovators this world has ever seen.

A self help book not a biography

I kept waiting for the vague platitudes to stop and the actual biography to begin - but it never came. The book has a persistent style of giving a vague anecdote and relating it to mindfulness, the authors past books, or the author’s opinion. The book averages about one fact every two pages on its subject.

Changed my life

Can’t say enough good things about this book. The narrator describes the lives, struggles, success of these 6 incredibly successful individuals. It really allowed me to realize how failure is the stepping stone to success and how we should never capitulate to any hardship that comes our way. Especially Elon musk and Jeff Bezos really struck a chord in me. Highly recommend if you want to change your life for the better.

Derivative, superficial, and self-involved

This is one of the vaguest, most self involved and derivative books I have read. The book almost spends more time covering the author’s own perceptions and memories of the events initiated by the book’s purported biographical subjects than on the subject themselves. Yes, there are some good biographical elements which were probably paraphrased from better biographies written by others, but the book continually refers to itself and discusses “the purpose of this book” and “this book” and “what I’ve been trying to say with this book” at numerous intervals, and claims to “cut through the hyperbole” and “provide critical analysis”. It does none of this, but it does provide a superficially opinionated take on the lives of its subjects in a way that is annoying, pseudo-professorial, and difficult to read. I wish I could get a refund.

A truly interesting look

A truly interesting look at a guy who always struck me as being an insufferable jerk. Turns out that he was indeed quite the jerk and this book makes no attempt to gloss over that fact. However, the book also gives us a look at Jobs' good side and what a fascinating side it was. This book will appeal to everyone from the total technical layman to professional computer scientists. It's really not so much about the technology but about the man. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

What an inspiration

What an inspiration! I may have listen some parts several times. People like Elon Musk are born once in a lifetime of the earth. Worth listening!

It’s not just a fascinating story

It’s not just a fascinating story, a lot of observations and parallels made by the author are not trivial and make this text an example of great investigative journalism

This book gave me a much clearer understanding

This book gave me a much clearer understanding of not only Musk but the driving internal forces and his objective. It provided excellent descriptions of the products he has driven to market. I will be looking forward to seeing him and his companies achieve all his goals.

Excellent book

Excellent book, one of the best I've listen . It includes all kind of anecdotes that contribute to understand the amazing case of Amazon, its philosophy and why it came to be the biggest retailer on the internet.

A common thread of the highly successful entrepre

A very thorough review of the Amazon story and a profile of its founder. As in other books I have listen about these success stories, the founder has been very arrogant, highly driven, very hands on, and at one or more times in the story, was extremely lucky at a pivotal time in the life of the company.

Great High Quality Overview

I agree with some of the other comments that the narration music is a bit off at times and I don't know why they showed the one guy getting dusted with makeup behind the scenes? haha But overall I enjoyed it and would consider it of value. I would recommend

Insanely great

My favorite biography to this date. Isaacson did a great job with the book. He really covered Steve's passion for "insanely great" products. The book was hard to put down. Highly recommend for anyone that has an entrepreneurial mindset and is trying to reach for things others do not think are possible.

Full disclosure.

Elon works for me. As a stock holder in Tesla I wanted to learn more about the unicorn that runs this extraordinary company. It's entertaining and gives a thumbnail sketch of the man who built a great electric car and now will sell you a roof to power it.
