Publisher's Summary
They call him the puppet master.
They say he's dirty, dark and dangerous.
And they're right.
He's everything they say he is, and more.
So much more.
Alexander Henley has no idea I exist. No idea whatsoever how much I want him.
But that's all about to change.
Because if there's one thing I know about the puppet master, it's that he pays well to pull women's strings.
And I'm going to be his next purchase.

Just When I thought No Author Could Shock Me!
I read and listen to MANY books... This book starts out with Lissa and Alexander in what I thought was going to be a formulaic story - girl slapped down by life trying to survive with her dreams to carry her onward. Rich bastard Alex jaded by life closed in and spoiled. Well Jade you blew me away and not once, but several times... I thought the Premise of Alexander was exaggerated for the sake of exaggeration at the beginning - but wrong, Jade doesn't just have the Lissa or Alex speak their life motto and then bam fall in love - the character lives - she backs them up. I had a couple of times I wanted to slap Lissa upside the head - and Alex once or twice as well - but I personally know that hindsight is 20/20 and being inside of a situation is certainly not a clear view. I love Jade's smart characterizations, her practical and realistic progression through a story - she gets you invested with characters you can believe with enough detail and insight to give you an affection for them and yet not roll your eyes - the dialogue is real. I gotta love the characters - eventually at least and - I was rooting for these two through the whole story... I have to have a HEA - I just have to - but knowing, knowing it had a HEA I still felt stunned, cried and questioned HOW this thing could come out well???!!!!! Jade you rock! I LOVED Call Me Daddy and initially I thought ewwww! But as usual, you made it make sense to me for the characters bigtime through the story - I am open minded - I think 18 is old enough for alot of people to KNOW what they want - depends on the person - Jade brings you into the reality of that character - has you walk a mile - or 100, in their moccasins - that talent is rare - Thanks Jade - LOVE all your characters, and Lissa and Alex are amazing - I am greedy, I want MORE Epilogue but I thank you for what you gave us - you give everyone hope that there is someone out there to Love you - no matter who you are!

Save your credit
The only reason I rated this a 1 Star is because leaving it blank defaults to 5 stars, but trust me, this book deserves a zero star rating same with the narrators.
I had this book sitting in my wishlist for a while and finally decided to spend my credit, and boy was it a waste.
Here are my problems with this book outside of both narrators being absolutely AWFUL
1) The hero is supposedly rich and hires people to clean his house filled with valuables, he didn’t even take the time to learn the name of his cleaner nor did he invest in any kind of cameras to protect his home and valuables!! RIDICULOUS
2) The kids in the story was pointless because aside from a few cameos they never really developed (which I understand because this story is about sex) but whey make them part of the story. The kids were never a priority for neither the hero or heroine but somehow all their decisions was for the kids (heavy eye roll)
3) This book was plain stupid..save your credit

Omg! The woman’s voice makes this awful.
The book is slow, and I am trying to lumber through this book, but it’s torture. A complete waste of coin. The woman narrator doesn’t pull off the character and I don’t know if that’s what makes it drag or if she just makes a bad book even worse.

Alexander and Melissa
*****Spoiler Alert*****
Audible Purchase. Dual POV. XXX rated standalone, age gap, maid-to-prostitute-to-wife romance. Listed as 11 hours 27 minutes; I listened at speed 1.50 for 7 hours 38 minutes. I enjoyed the narrators but I had difficulty understanding some of the names even when I slowed it down. I'm not sure but I think Smutty McDiarmid is German based on his accent & Posey Clifford may be British. I don't remember the author specifying the characters' origins so their accents don't negatively impact the story. Trigger warnings: hit and run leaving a teenager and infant orphaned; a homophobic and abusive father; a woman's legs are amputated after she was run over by a careless driver; a girl who was raped dies of a heroin overdose; cheating father; sex/porn addiction; prostitutes on auction; @n@l beads; other toys; @n@l; MM; rape of a young man arranged by his father; breath play; attempted murder, gunshot victim; a dog attacked a gunman; divorce; custody issues.
Melissa (18) had dreams of becoming a lawyer before her parents tragic death left her as her infant brother Joseph's caregiver. Melissa relies on Dean, her gay friend and recent roommate, and his help with Joseph. Melissa fell in love with Alexander when she was 14 and he visited her school for a career day type event. Melissa's career dreams may have been stolen but four years after being him her crush on Alexander (44) is unwavering. Alexander is a divorced workaholic father of two sons and a sought after criminal defense attorney who is running his retired controlling father's law firm. Melissa joins the cleaning staff of Alexander's law firm and works her way up to becoming his personal housekeeper. Melissa learns everything she can about Alexander and his interest to hopefully become his girlfriend. Melissa gets more than she bargains for and loves every moment. Once all of their secrets are revealed Alexander and Melissa get a satisfying HEA. JP

Female narrator
Posey’s voice is beyond squeaky and aggravating, she sounds like a talking mosquito who is trying for seduction. Smutty’s voice was great!

kinky wild
just wow! love the narration and love the characters. Alexander's kinky desires for bisexual exploits and asphyxiation would be enough, but ad in an awesome storyline with the girl crush to maid to pet sitter to virgin for auction to weekly girl and you've got a book you cant put down. wish this one had a sequel.

😕
Hmm, I wanted to like this more. The story was alright, the narrators were okay. It may just be me, but this kinda fell short in the intensity and romance for me. 😔
