Publisher's Summary

An underpaid, overworked certified flight instructor cheats death while attempting to teach a cast of incompetent student pilots to fly at a skeezy South Florida flight school; all in the quest to build flight time so he can get a “real job” at an airline. The planes break, the regs break, metal gets bent, students are lost at sea, and a Top Gun wannabe student, who has 400 hours of flight instruction, still hasn’t made his first solo flight.

CFI!: The Book is an over-the-top satirical aviation comedy that’s loosely based on real-world experiences of flight instruction, but if the FAA asks, this is all strictly fictional.

Entertaining and Funny

I was laughing so hard I crashed my car. Totally worth it. Highly recommend to anyone (the book, not crashing your car).

Reminded me of 90s ski movies

Less than I hoped for. It was very similar to the sophomoric ski movies of the 90s, but not as funny. In fact I can't recall anything funny.

Very funny.

If you know about flight school operations, it’ll light up your day. Narrator mastered the narration just as the writer wrote it humorously.

Book was hilarious.

As a student pilot at a decent school, I can't relate. But, I can see how this "fiction" book could very true.

This cfi should lose his Cfi certificate

The book is funny. but if anything in it is true he should lose his certificate and licenses. some of you will laugh that off... but im a professional trucker and this is a huge problem in my industry. And it costs people their lives. That cfis would pass incompetants off to keep their job risking the lives of 100s is insane. This giy should be in jail not flying
