Just deleted the first 2/3 of the book and replaced it with paltry epitomes. The real thing is ~923 pages, not sure why they decided to forgo the entirity of McCullough's novelistic interpretation of Caesar's Commentarii de Bello Gallico (Gallic campaigns).
