I’ve nearly reached the second checkpoint in Duolingo, and find myself craving longer stories. This collection was the perfect level and speed for me. I got the gist of the story and kept my translator open for the 25-30% of the words I didn’t know. So grateful to have found this series and can’t wait for Book 2!

I've been studying German since the start of the pandemic. This seemed like a good way to become more familiar with the language in a practical sense. The narrator paused between words, which is grea for comprehension; but it left me with a sick feeling.

I wasn't able to follow the stories at all, only words I remembered from my previous lessons. Best for me to find lessons that fit my level of understanding.
