Publisher's Summary
Call me Dragon. It’s the last thing you’ll ever do.
Blitz the Devastator has never done a decent day’s devastating in his life. Fireless, artistic, and shunned by his Dragon Clan, he struggles to pillage even the meanest village. A future full of misery and failure beckons.
This much is true until the day the burly brown Dragon successfully - imagine that - kidnaps the Princess Azania. As a black Princess of T’nagru, this spirited beauty is by definition the most unforgettable woman in the 17 realms. Knights errant, men-at-arms, and sundry Princes expire at her feet in driveling worship.
Unfortunately, they all want his scaly head on a platter shortly thereafter. Goes with the territory.
To Blitz’s consternation, the royal nuisance refuses to behave herself and be a typical pampered Princess. With humour, unconventional flair and the odd stomp of her diminutive slipper, she sets out to reform her Dragon.
One question remains. Who will save the Dragon from the Princess?

5-star review? Where are the 6 stars! WAAAAY GOOD!
I will be blunt and to the point- if you want a book with whit, whim, action, adventure, humor, princess and dragon who act like siblings who tease each other (after the fact that the dragon kidnapped the princess for a certain fate), and at times, the "mighty devastator" dragon has a very soft AND protective heart for this princess who he has become so fond of.
I could not get enough of the humor. The author wrote this book in a way that reminds me of my high school English teacher who LOVED to use big words. Marc used big words that actually fit quite well not only in the book, but it also made the friendship between princess and dragon more entertaining and enjoyable.
Also, the narrator (Kyle Westmaas) did a fantastic job. Spot on with the characters, humor, emotions. Everything. Well done Kyle!
If you have listened/read to:
Dragonia: Rise of the Wyvers by Craig A Price Jr. (and the other books)
All Dragon books by Craig Halloran (which is about 40+ books)
Rise of the Dragons (Morgan Rice)
Call Me Dragon: Dragon Fires Rising by Marc Secchia
Guardian: Magical Beasts books By: Geoffrey Saign
Then you will very much enjoy this!
I will tell you this- hands down you will enjoy this book! Very, VERY refreshing and humorous! I can go into more detail, but why do that when you can just get this book and start listening! Well done Marc. Well done!!

excellent
This is one of the best audio books I've listened to, ever. You have your typical dragon hunters, kidnapped princesses, raids and pillaging. Then you have you not so typical dragon who like painting and poetry, he also can't breathe fire. But he has one heck of a sense of humor! You will be laughing throughout this audible.
Kyle Westmaas does a fantastic job in his narration. I love it when he says I. Am. Dragon.
I received a free copy of this audible. it's my pleasure to leave my review.

Never thought about how a dragon must feel.
It starts out hilarious. It ends funny. In the middle, it get serious for a bit. I liked the funny parts. I liked the voice acting.

A must read for dragon aficionados!
Parents: due to the mature in nature, outside of the references to attempted rape and the human form being of a curiosity to dragons I think this is appropriate for mature 16+ maybe even 14+ depending on your comfort level. Movie rating would be PG13 at least. The language was clean and the violence is typical dragon violence, nothing overly gruesome and there is some pretty intense torture. Sexual content consists of attempted rape, magical chastity belt, sexual tension, naked guy (but nothing described), appreciation for the female figure (mentioned repeatedly throughout).
The story is engaging and entertaining, the world and communities are well described and really come to life. Don’t start unless you plan to finish because you will NOT want to stop listening. If you enjoy dragons and magic and adventure this book needs to be on your list! I’m anxiously awaiting the next installment to say the least!
Narrator had good differentiations between characters, pleasant voice.

Loved it!
I absolutely loved this book! It is so heartwarming but hilarious at the same time. I felt a kinship with this sarcastic dragon and princess that I was so sad when I was getting close to the end of the book. I hope for more of this world of dragons!

simp dragon that loves puns and Thesaurus's
1. Don't buy the book for a credit, or $ there's a bundle deal for ALL 3 fir 1 credit.
so, on one hand, the book is very " woke" over and over the princess race is brought up, how she's different, etc. how she was destined to be " sold off" to a prince to make babies and further her fathers empire. ok....but then...the author over sexualizes said princess, " dragon" is always making comments on her posterior... On top of that, the author REALLY needs to be aware of the ages of his characters. Dragon is 20 and is always talking about how beautiful " his princess" is, yet she is 17.
the princess tells her 11 year old sister how she'll dress her up nicely so as to make all the men drool.
the princess gets her prince, who is 21... she is still 17...he claims he knew the first time he met her, he was in love with her. he 1st met her when she was 12... cringe.
There's another chapter too that first met his new wife and saved her life when she was like 8....super cringe...
The next thing that annoys me, dragon, it is said is 50 some odd feet. yet many times he's doing things that don't make sense.
he cooks in the kitchen, goes looking for paint in closets... how? he is able to land and take off from a ship? double how? is the wooden ship 400ft long?
next is the "science" of said world.
they use herbs and plants for healing, which are overall in the metal age. using swords and cross bows.
Yet, talk about brain stems, ganglia, and how the blood works at high altitudes.
book is just all over the damn place. between its " wokeness" it's weird age gapes, physics, science
in book 3 right now, so many eye roll moments.
unless you are just super bored. it's a skip
also, the narrator loves Scottish and Irsh type accents. seems every other character gets one outside of his core, 4 or 5 voices

great start but makes several bad story decisions
my expectations are low after giving up on his dragon soul series. while this book was mostly good, there were a lot of bad decisions that made be shake my head, and a few parts that dragged on, like they were being milked for length

Excellent Story
This story was fantastic to listen to. Wonderfully executed by the narrator, this story is told with several very keen dialects and voices. An impressive undertaking that gave due weight and credit to a distinct vocal range from males and females, and from humans to dragons.
This story itself is wonderful and covers several topics, including racism, bullying, and depression, but told from a dragon's perspective, showing how racism looks to an outsider, how bullying truly impacts others, and how a friend can be the only light in the world when goong through depression. This author was absolutely amazing.
All in all, this is an excellent book. It should be noted that there is a trilogy of books all sold together, but if you're unsure and need a second opinion as to getting it, then I wholeheartedly support this work and it's hysterical humor, wondrous world-building, and artistic alliteration throughout.

A fun dragon fantasy romp
a fun dragon fantasy romp where the dragon is the main character for once. I liked the humor in this book as well.
