I have always been a big fan of the author. This book wasn’t just informative, it was highly entertaining. I loved her honesty, humour, and her humility. I would recommend this book to anyone whether or not they have dealt with cancer. I hope that she does a memoir that would pick up from where this book left off.

I found this book inspiring, informative and highly entertaining. I was sad when it was over. Fran’s account of her cancer experience, the break up of her marriage and the loss of her beloved companion “Chester” was heartbreaking but at the same time hopeful. One lesson she shared in the book is that one cannot have a future if you spend your present looking back at the losses of your past. Sage advice! I feel blessed for having the opportunity to listen to this book. It was an eye opening experience to have an inside account of what courage, persistence and determination it takes to fight and win the battle of cancer and to become a better version of one’s self rather than a bitter one. I applaud her for sharing such a personal experience. Well done!
