There is very little meaningful character development, and the female lead's trauma isn't really given real attention - it just kind of goes away. The male lead is ridiculously and laughably immortal. Their relationship is awkward due to how it starts and there isn't really a gradual building, they just decide they love each other one day. This narrator is usually one I quite like, but this isn't his best performance, either. The story isn't BAD, but it's definitely not GOOD, either. Average characters, story, and narration. It's fine for something mindless, I guess, but definitely not favourite story material.

Good enough but very repetitive and one dimensional

I really enjoyed the story and I may read another. However, I will not listen to another by the same narrator. The voices of the 2 main characters were poor. The male lead was supposed to sound dark and sexy but sounded more like the villian with a higher pitched voice. the female lead sounded like a 70 year old whiny lady, especially when upset or crying. It really detracts from the enjoyment of the story line. The intimate scenes are awkward due to it.
