À propos de cet audio
On September 11, 1984, five young American sailors were seized at gunpoint by the Soviet Union in the north Bering Sea and taken captive to Siberia. This is the story of what happened. The audiobook is two stories in one: Alaskan high seas adventure combined with the Christian testimony of five young American sailors who take a stand for their faith amidst intense interrogation by high-ranking officers in the Soviet military.
Charles Burrall left his hometown in upstate New York with a yearning for adventure. His travels brought him to Alaska where he obtained work on a merchant ship skippered by one of the youngest ship captains in the United States. Two years later, on a freight-hauling mission to the Arctic, their ship was seized by the Soviet Union and taken hostage to Siberia. Held at gunpoint and threatened with 30 years in prison, this is the story of their interrogation and interaction with high-ranking officers in the Soviet military.
