An honest, messy, engaging memoir with excellent audio performance. Deeply human and detailed right to the viscera—my only critique is that it needed a tighter edit and more focus, as it often meanders, albeit not unpleasantly, but to the detriment of the narrative

Loveable, hate-able, relatable and yet not. A human version of an foodie world insider track on the misogynistic times, hard graft, hard times, fast times and everything in between including the sheets.

Buckle up and enjoy the ride.

All i can say i that i loved it.

Ps thanks for also sharing your personal experience Laurie with Anthony. He is truly missed but I have no doubt he is swinging on a hammock, beach side, sand in etween his toes liquor glass in hand and some delicious and probably insane food on order. Waiter - refill!

I absolutelyy enjoyed the story and narration. It is. a story off course full of personal pain, but at the same time absolutely generous, humane, and empathetic. This book has been for me like a plate of a most comforting homecooked meal.
