Holly Smale has a talent for showing a feeling, not just telling about it. A talent so rich that I found myself casting the protagonist, Penelope Dankworth, in the same light shed by others in the story. And, like them, to be shown the folly of prejudice. Fortunately, the ending leaves room for a sequel. And what a brilliant job by Kristin Atherton as the narrator.

Highly recommend this book, and this grade A narration.
