One of my favorite books by far

I absolutely loved this book, even though at one point it absolutely gutted me and left me sobbing. It brought up some feelings I've been suppressing for the past year in order to carry on caring for the cats who call my cat sanctuary home. It has inspired me to search for a pet grief support group in my area. So thank you for normalizing grieving the loss of a pet. As a cat lady myself, this book 100% resonated with me. The story, narration and character development were all brilliant.
