Great story but the narration fell flat

I like the Thirds series and have read the books. Unfortunately the narration style didn’t work for me. The drawn out “o” sounds on many words was off putting and the voice of Hobbs was a childlike depiction of the character that detracted from the story. I really tried to like this audible series but this isn’t a keeper which unfortunate.
