Good, but a cliffhanger
I can't give this book anything less than 5 stars, because it is one of the most amazing things I've ever read. That being said, I wouldn't recommend listening to this until the third book comes out. The ending is a thousand times more painful than the first one, due to a major cliffhanger at the end of the book. Other than that, if you enjoyed the first book, you're bound to like this one. It had perhaps a bit too little romance for my taste, but was just as suspenseful as the first book.

So Fun
And what a gorgeous ending. The book definitely ramps up, like the first one did too. Beautiful sequences all throughout but they come closer together in the last 20 minutes.

Who can you trust?!?!
Second installment in the Timekeeper series! Ladies and Gents this was not a read I could do and multitask! There was more of a suspense/mystery vibe with this book with more twists and turns that had me asking myself, “Who can we even trust anymore?!?!”
I really liked the peek into the past and learning more about how the towers came to be. Though, I must warn you, if you are as invested in these characters as I am, it gave me some very unpleasant feelings.
As for the romantic aspect, there wasn’t much. In the beginning there was a scene that had heavily implied...*eyebrow waggle* some mature intimacy between Danny and Colton. However, as the story progresses and they are separated they still share a bond but the main focus is in the mission.
That being said.... off to book three!!!

LOVE this series!
The second book in the series is so fun, adventurous, suspenseful, and emotional. I’m engulfed in the world and the characters and can’t stop listening! The narrator for such a great job of giving voice and emotion to the characters. I was upset when it was finished. On to the next book Firestarter! Enjoy!

Cliff hanging
I loved it. I realize this is fiction so its not true true, but its historical fiction with a dash of fantasy and its interesting to see a world with the paralleled history and makes it all the more compelling. the story is great and has some significant twists that people won't see coming or will leave the person questioning until the truth is revealed. great story.

A Welcome Curveball
This book left feeling I was missing out. The story was lovely, the narrative between Colton and Danny was great as expected, but the focus on India had me feeling left out. It was handled well, as we were going on the same journey as the characters were and they were also out of sorts, but I can easily see it being alienating for some. All in all, the culture was a shock to me but I welcomed the feeling given the nature of the story and the plot.

An amazing sequel
The story keeps unraveling and it WILL keep you on your toes. Narration continues being excellent and the story starts taking much darker turns. Can't wait to get to the next book!

A bit boring
This book is more boring than the first one. I listened to it as an audiobook, otherwise I may not have finished it. However, I liked the first book, and I am curious about how the story ends, so I’ll try the third book.

Disappointing
This book ends with a feeling that it is very obviously one book which has been split into two. I dislike when this is done because it feels very much like they're (The author? Publisher? Amazon? The powers that be...?) trying to get something out of you; trying to manipulate in some way.
You're left with a ridiculous nonsensical ending that is more than a cliffhanger -- it's just either the middle of the book or an unfinished book.
