À propos de cet audio

What happens when the sweetest employee learns her boss's evil secrets? This opposites-attract ice queen romance asks: Can a villain truly be redeemed?

CEO Michelle Hastings has foolishly promoted a kind, clueless activist to her full-time staff. Now, on top of fighting her inconvenient feelings, Michelle must hide the evil they do.

Eden Lawless relishes her new job, the hot boss who gives her butterflies, and her eccentric workmates who tell weird jokes about their day. Blackmail? Hacking? Doxing? Hilarious! But what if it's not a joke? Would that mean Eden has to fight the boss she's falling for?

Contains mature themes.

As soon as I finished The Fixer, I began listening to The Chaos Agent and spent every free moment absorbing the story. The plot's development kept me moving on to the next chapter, then the next, then the next, until it was suddenly 3 a.m., and I had to convince myself to stop listening. The relationship between Eden and Michelle really takes form in this book, and it's done with such care and intrigue that no matter how evil Michelle is (or tries to be), I found it impossible to dislike her. Their happy ending is beautifully done, and both their successes and failures feel poignant and relatable, even under the evil umbrella of The Fixers.

Once again, Angela Dawe's narration breathed life into every character, and only my looming To Be Read pile kept me from immediately listening to the first book again.

The Perfect Dovetail Sequel

I preferred the action in the first tome, but it was nice following the development of the relationship between the main character in this second tomes. I also liked the new characters introduced in the book. I’ve listened to more or less 50 books on audible and I didn’t encountered a better narrator than Angela Dawe. She can cover a large number of voices and she is so good at delivering the text.

Great sequel!

Lee Winter and Angela Dawe are the true forces of nature. Though some parts may have frustrated me so much (I guess that was the point) I can't for the life of me put my headphones off. The story plot is amazingly dark and bright at the same time. Everything was just well thought out. Lee Winter has outdone herself with this one. Worth the wait. And of all the characters Angela Dawe had brought to life, Michelle is by far the most alluring of them all. (i feel like I'm betraying my other beloved characters. 😬😬😬) all in all very well done!!!!

They did it again!!!
