Publisher's Summary
Re-released in a second edition with new content.
Gemma Wells came to Bliss, Colorado, after a scandal cost her everything. Utterly lost, the disgraced attorney built walls so high that she thinks no one can get through them. She’s given up on love, friendship, and all matters of the heart.
Jesse McCann and Cade Sinclair have floated through life, enjoying the world around them, but never allowing themselves to become a part of it. One look at the pretty attorney and Jesse realizes he’s finally found a reason to stay put. Cade isn’t so sure. He’s crazy about her, but he also knows he doesn’t deserve her.
As they begin to find their way together, a dark secret from Gemma’s past threatens to wreck their futures. Her ex-fiancé is back, bringing danger with him, and their time is running out. Jesse and Cade have to melt this Ice Queen’s heart, or she might not leave Bliss alive.

Cade Whined Too Long!!!
This review was surprisingly easy for me because what I liked and didn't like stood out for me.
I enjoyed the narration. I liked the secondary characters, the other residents of Bliss. They were fun, quirky, witty, and full of humor.
I never really warmed up to Gemma until almost the very end. I was on the fence about Jesse. I couldn't decide if he was a Dom or if he was a Dom with anger issues.
Tbh, I was just sick of Cade and irritated that he kept being wishy washy. He whined throughout almost the entire book. It went on for way too long and completely took away from the story. I was shocked when I learned that what happened to Cade occurred at the age of 9.
Gemma and the ice princess attitude went on a little longer than I wanted, but even she gave it up before the book was done.
So far, this was not my favorite of the series, but it was ok.

I liked it, but it’s not one of my favs
Gemma is a hard nosed, no nonsense attorney, disgraced by her former fiancé and forced to leave NY to temporarily settle with her mom back in Bliss while her mom recovers from cancer treatments. What she doesn’t expect is to meet two men who make her question her old life and way of dealing with the world. Jesse and Cade have decided to stay in Bliss after finally finding the man responsible for their moms death and seeing him dealt with once and for all. Now that they’re here, finding a woman is next on the list, but Jesse is ready to settle down and Cade is not..reconciling this will not be an easy feat.
Loved the story and a Gemma was my kind of woman..take charge and take no crap..watching her connect with the Bliss group of crazies was funny and heartwarming. Jesse was a bit stiff but he slowly found his rhythm..now Cade..while he definitely had some issues in his past to deal with, he whined through the whole story..I didn’t think I was going to be able to finish it..he was just droning on and on..finally he got himself together and was able to move forward with his relationship with his best friend and brother and the woman that finally made the, feel like home.

Jessie, Cade And Gemma's Story
I enjoyed this book. Jessie and Cade both have survived their damaging years of youth and manage to maintain their relationships with each other. When Gemma comes along, Jessie knows she's the one but Cade's early years have left him scarred and afraid to let anyone else close. The unfolding tale of attempted murder and Gemma's discovery of what she really wants makes for a great story. The HEA is as joyful as ever, a thing of beauty. Narration is excellent. BRAVO Lexi/Sophie.
