An enjoyable books with plenty of laughs. Refreshing and light. I really enjoyed it and will continue the series.

The townspeople were such delightful and well-regarded characters; it makes one wish they were one's own. This book has me giggling and laughing heartily. I wish my grandmother were still alive so that she could also enjoy this delightful book. The details were all so well-done that I felt as if I were walking through it all with them. The story of the chickens was definitely my favorite part of the book! From their little personalities to some of the hilarious names, I chuckled every time I heard them.
