Publisher's Summary

In this exhilarating new thriller from number-one New York Times best-selling author Stuart Woods, Stone Barrington must go up against an enemy with deadly intentions - and ideologies.

Stone Barrington and his friends are vacationing in Maine when their leisure is suddenly disrupted by extreme weather. To make matters worse, the inclement conditions allow for a menacing adversary to sneak in unnoticed and deliver a chilling message. Soon it becomes clear that the target of the incident is one of Stone's closest companions, and that these enemies have a grander scheme in mind.

From the bustling streets of New York City to the sun-drenched shores of Key West, Stone intends to nab the criminals that appear behind him at every step. But his search only leads him further down a trail of peril and corruption, and he'll soon find that at the end of the road is a more dangerous foe than he could have imagined....

I Love it

I’ve been a huge fan of this series and have listened to all of them had been disappointed of late at the “over-sexed” turn the series seemed to be taking. Sometimes the sex does not add to the story, but seems a huge amount of fluff.
I’m glad I didn’t give up on it because Stuart Woods is back with this one! I couldn’t stop listening! Very well written and great story!

What the hell????

I am a long time fan of the man that is Stone B. but I feel ripped off by this one!! Normally Stone is the focus of the book the central character around which the story develops. This was not the case with this one, he was a part to be sure, but the way previous Stone’s adventures/misadventures have unfolded had a different....something not completely sure what word to use...tone/feeling not to mention the fact that he was extremely faithful to Holly (something he had not demonstrated previously). The ending was as much of a let down as the entire book was, sadly feels like this was phone in when compared to the reactions I have had from reading everything else this author has created.
