Fast pace and more action than most SB books.
Right from the start the pace of this story is fast. The inclusion of Stone's friends and colleagues from all over the world and his houses in Europe and USA just add to the excitement. More violent than most SB books but for me one of the more exciting books in awhile.

Violent, Stupid and pointless
Improbability‘s pile up on absurdity in the story which really has no plot is extremely violent and makes no sense. Every time President Holly Barker comes on the scene I cringe with the absolute ridiculousness of the idea of her being President of the United States. Stuart Woods icreativity has definitely run out of gas and instead of shooting strangers in their head they should probably just shoot stone And put him out of our misery!

HUSH-HUSH
I was greatly disappointed. I stopped listening twice because it was so boring. They spent almost the entire book hunkered down in one place or another. The sex was so bland I couldn’t believe Stuart Woods wrote those parts. The character of Rocky needed to be fleshed out more. No pizzazz. Only at the very end of the book did the book get worth listening to. I have ALL the Stone Barrington books loaded on my phone and I have been listening to them for the second and third time because I love this series. I’m sorry to say this one disappointed me.

Love the stories but as much as older series books
I love the Stone Barrington stories. But the latest few books in the series have let me down. They are not as good as the older books in the series. Instead of releasing four books in the series per year, why not spend more time writing a novel that is more in depth and with a more detailed story.
I'll continue to buy and read the novels, but my impressions of the latest stories are that they are store cash register checkout books.
Love listening to Tony Roberts read the stories. He may be the reason I continue to follow the series.

Great book
I own every Stone Barrington book, and this is one of my favorites, I won’t spoilt anything, but the ending was fantastic.
On a small side note, I got a chuckle out of mentioning an older book as part of the “reading material” for a character in this book,
