One of my Top 5 Margaret Maron novels

I am a huge fan of Margaret Maron's Debra Knott mysteries. Her main characters, Debra, Dwight Bryant, Debra's parents are always great. The mystery plots are excellent, and surprising. My top favourites also include a wonderful layer of humour and a heartwarming sense of family. Thus the mystery, sometimes quite gruesome, is leavened by humour and family parts of the human condition.
