Publisher's Summary

When Travis McGee's friend Meyer lent his boat to his niece Norma and her new husband Evan, the boat exploded out in the waters of the Florida Keys. Travis McGee thinks it's no accident, and clues lead him to ponder possibilities of drugs and also to wonder where Evan was when his wife was killed.

Another good yarn by John D. MacDonald. It takes you back forty years-before cell phones.

I have read John D MacDonald’s books for sixty years. I eagerly awaited them as they were published, especially the Travis McGee yarns. Those books were well crafted and gave a social commentary on the times. Some other author’s books in that genre did not travel through time as well as MacDonalds. I enjoy listening to his books as much as I did reading them.
