I did not know what to expect from this book, but it was free from Audible, so I listened. As a Canadian, I have lots of gaps in my American history, so this book filled in a lot around the time the USA was formed. As it was historical fiction, I never knew how much of the Tom Paine story was fact vs fiction (he was a real person). That aside, it was well written. Great narration. Nice walk on role for Napoleon!
