The story itself is great, it was really tough to listen to though. Everyone sounds the same, suddenly they’re British, story was super monotone and pronunciation was atrocious and not at all the same as the last book. They should have at least made sure everyone is saying the words the same.

I started with the TV show and when I found out it was based on books, I wanted to read them. Love the characters and the depth of description. I was so happy with the ending and I did not like the TV show ending at all. I think she is a great writer.

sort of annoying when the narrator spells out Jules and Emma's secret language instead of saying it otherwise not the worst

It took me nearly the entire book to get used to the male narrators voice. It’s choppy and expressionless and even when I got used to it I still didn’t like it.

Sophie Turner is awesome in Game of Thrones and did a really good job narrating, however the majority of the characters in the series are American with American accents not British, so her accent was out of place in my opinion.

I was pleased with this as the finale of the book series, Clary is finally the badass I was hoping for in the previous books, although in book 5 she’s pretty good.

I’ve listened to this series about 5 times, and I love the story! However the narrators are all wrong for this book. Unfortunately they often come off flat, like they’re just reading out a script, not acting, and it’s disappointing.
