Story
For Clementine, spring is a really big deal. It’s the time for seeing her apple tree start to grow, for watching her friend Margaret go crazy with spring cleaning, and for going on the school trip to Plimoth Plantation. Clementine is ready for Ye Olden Times, but she isn’t so sure about surviving lunch there - the fourth graders have strict rules about no eating sounds. (What is snicking, anyway? ) If that wasn’t enough, Clementine also faces the challenges of learning Olive-language and surviving The Cloud on Bus 7.

Story
In this final book, Clementine is having a feud with her father - she's so mad she can't even speak to him. Besides that, she has to deal with the end of the school year and all the good-byes she must say - Clementine does N-O-T, not like saying good-bye. (Neither do I! I had a lump in my throat all the time I was writing the book - I am going to miss this girl and her family so much!)

Good stories, too expensive though
I liked books 2 through 7 in the Clementine series more than the first one. I have to admit, they are pretty good. My daughter loved them and I eventually warmed up to them.
What I did not warm to was the price. Each book is about two hours long, but they are priced the same as much longer books. That doesn’t seem fair.
If they were sold in bundles of 3 or maybe even 2 stories I would be good with that. But at one credit per book, I will return them, get my credits back, and get longer books for my kids. Maybe if this series goes on sale, I’ll re-buy them then.

Funny and heartwarming
The story is so cute and Clementine is hilarious. The narrator does an excellent job of translating emotions and expressions. My kids and I sat attentively listening. My kids actually rather listen to the story than watch television!

Wonderful Kid's Book
It is refreshing to read a book that is so positive and fun. My kids LOVE these books!
The author and narrator are both wonderfully amazing.
These books are better then the Junie B. Jones and Judy Moody series'. You and your children will want to read them again and again.

Clementine is a good friend
Would you listen to Clementine, Friend of the Week again? Why?
I love the book Friend of the Week. Clementine is adorable and she tries so hard to be friendly to other children in her class even when she isn't friend of the week. Sometimes the gift is in the receiving as Clementine learns when her kitten is lost.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I love this book. And I love Clementine. I also love Moisturizer. ;-)
Any additional comments?
For reasons I do not understand, some of these books are listed as Sarah Pennypacker and others are Sara Pennypacker. Make sure you see all 6 books when you search for Clementine. While not exactly critical, it is helpful to listen in order. First is Clementine, second is The Talented Clementine, 3rd - Clementine's Letter, 4th - Friend of the Week, 5th - Family Meeting, 6th - Spring Trip. This book is showing the order of the book but the others do not.
