This is a thriller with supernatural elements. I really enjoyed the story and the narration was incredible. At time the story drug on or moved slowly, but overall I really enjoyed it and would read more by Ronald Malfi again. The first chapter alone was heartbreaking and beautifully written.

I enjoyed this novel a lot and the narration was perfect for the atmosphere of the story. The novel keeps you guessing who dunnit and does not use cheap plot armor or cheap misdirection. I really enjoyed the story being written from the perspective of the husband speaking to his wife. I highly recommend this novel to everyone who enjoys mysteries/suspense stories.

The pacing was actually okay which I found refreshing. Plot is decent and I like the handful of red herrings sprinkled throughout the story which keep the reader/listener feeling involved. The author ties things up neatly at the end and I appreciate the ride I was taken on in this work. I recommend it whole heartedly!
