Publisher's Summary

The death god fell, but that was hardly the end.

Kyle and his team still have to deal with a horde of undead and their masters. To make matters worse, the other gods may be taking a hand in things now. That would be good if they weren't more worried about ending the status quo than facing the threat to all of Verden.

But the war god is not alone in this. His team will bring armies to fight for him, even as he learns what it truly means to be a god. It isn't the end step that many seem to think it is, but rather just another rung on ladder of cultivation.

Once those secrets are unlocked he finds out that death may only be the beginning.

Good enough, but...

I don't usually write reviews but I feel I should say a few words about this title...

All in all, I have been enjoying this series but this particular entry seems to have missed it's proof reading stage. There are several points where the wrong name is used, or people speak when a few lines before they were stated to be elsewhere. There are also several fairly major continuity errors that almost made me have to stop listening...
I won't refund this title, as I do enjoy the tale as a whole, but this is the weakest entry in the series, due mainly to simple issues that any read through should have brought to light.
