A Brilliant suprise

My first book from this author so i took a risk. I dont usually like books with this many perspective shifts from authors im unfamiliar with because i usually end up liking some characters ALOT more than others. But this was VERY well done, i was really impressed.
All the characters managed to keep my atention and even now i cant say which i enjoyed more. The politics were complex enough to be interesting yet simple enough to follow. The world building was well done,i swear there was a map forming in my head as the story progressed. All the troupes are there, the enigmatic wizard, the eccentric spy, the boy meant for greatness, and the girl thrust into power.
But its a story i NEVER get tired of and ill be on the look out for the next one. I hope the author doesnt dissapear as so many seem to do nowadays.
5/5 safe purchase.
