John Scalzi does it again. I love his imagination and the voice artist brings the story to life. Too short, because I never get enough of his stories. Well worth your time. It’s handy if you read “An Election” first. It’s currently available free online elsewhere.

Entertaining and surprising

Humour is light, story is light, the whole thing weighs less than the air needed to hear it. Which I wasn't expecting based on my previous Scalzi listens. But not a waste of time and no regrets. Sometimes an airy pass is just fine. Very pleased with the narrator.

This is a quirky story of terrific imagination! The characters are wide and varied; our heroine is charming and chill and a terrific problem solver. I've listened to it twice now and enjoyed it both times.

If you need a break from the realities of life, this is the story for you.
