About this listen

Fall in love with a Lauren Blakely romance, which New York Times bestselling author Carly Phillips calls “The perfect blend of sexy and emotional, with sparks and heat!”

Dog trainer Cara Bailey wants to find “the one,” but fantasizing about her sexy-as-hell client, firefighter Travis Jansen, is getting in the way. Her only option? Get the confirmed bachelor out of her system - in every position possible - so she can settle down with Mr. Right. Starting right now.

Travis doesn't do relationships, so no matter how badly he wants the pretty little brunette, he keeps his distance. Until Cara goes and changes the game. She'll fulfill all of his fantasies if he agrees to walk away when it's over. But when the wildfire between them blazes out of control, it will consume everything - and everyone - in its path....

Was a good read.

But to be honest Erin Mallon mDe it better.
I guess I’ve been reading many books with the same type of plot so it didn’t jump out for me like the other Lauren books.

But seriously it’s not bad at all.

Good story

I enjoyed everything except the way the female was read, the voice actor made me crazy with the way she dragged the words out. Every now and then she would get into reading and speak normal however when she started dragging the words I almost gave up.

Female vice actor

Typical buy good romance story. Joe Arden's deep voice is excellent in this book. I enjoyed it and liked listening to it.

Firefighters like it hot 🔥

The female narrator’s voice is really off-putting.
Didn’t finish the read because of it.

Female narrator a turnoff

The story was kind of dull. The story seemed to focus more on the sex than the love and story as a whole.

The focus was too much on sex

I always enjoy Lauren Blakely books. It's a light read/listen, lots of sexy scenes, cute story line. My only minor critism is the female narrator's one thing that she does, drives me a little nuts, she has a "newscastor" tone where is extends words at the end of her sentence ex: I walk to the car with Emilyyyyyyyyy. I love her voice otherwise, I just spend more of my time actively trying to ignore that. It doesn't overtake the story or anything, just something my brain notices and won't let go.
