Publisher's Summary

These Royals will ruin you.

Ever since Hartley Wright met Easton Royal, her life hasn’t been the same. There are enemies behind every corner and dangers beyond each door. When tragedy strikes and steals her memories, she can’t trust anyone, not even the blue-eyed boy who promises her everything will be all right.

While Hartley’s memory is full of gaps, her instincts tell her Easton is dangerous. She doesn’t know if he’s the snake in the garden or her chance at salvation. The chaos he brings wherever he goes is too much to handle, the intense feelings he evokes are too confusing to unravel.

Easton wants her to remember. Hartley thinks it’s better to forget. She might be right. Tragedy. Treachery. Trust. Hartley has to face the facts - in this world, you can’t escape the Royals. Either you live by their rules or you die by them.

Intense

Wow this series is crazy. I'm so attached to all of these characters. I really hope there will be more books. I can't imagine amnesia like this and worst of all in high school.

ehh

great story. female narrator was a shock to my ears. she is able to give every other character a different sound, but I can't tell the difference from the heroines internal monologue and what she says out loud. the female voice starts out robotic and with a hint of autotune. its jarring. great story but I struggled with the narrator. 3 stars. purchase at your own risk.

This Series Has Ruined Me!

Everything ceases to exist when I pop my earbuds in for a new "Royals" story. Daaaang, these guys really get under my skin. If anyone ever told me I would be so intrigued by a series about a bunch of entitled, spoiled, rich high school kids with more issues than Playboy and more enemies than Hitler, I never would have believed it. But I bought in from the first paragraph of the first book, and never, ever looked back. In fact, now that I'm at the end of the series, I'm unashamedly drooling for more. I could mainline this stuff. These Royals really have ruined me.

Enjoyed this author but not this final book.

Not my favorite of the series. It was drawn out and everything happened at the end and not wrapped you with a bow. I was disappointed because I liked all the characters it just was a drag.

Not as good as the ella/Reid books

Not as good as the ella & Reid books. The female narrator was really annoying as well.

Could’ve been called “ Unlikely Kingdom”

Erin Watt is a fantastic writer. Even with this implausible storyline, it shows. However Easton Royal’s story line just isn’t believable. Without giving away any of the plot I will say I found myself thinking “why” a lot. That wasn’t the case with Ella & Reed’s story line. I also could’ve done without the formers happily ever after at then end. It was cute and will probably appeal to the intended audience but it just was not believable. I still enjoyed the world Erin Watt created and the narrators carried what might have been eye rolling scenarios. If you love the Royal series, you will enjoy it, but it didn’t com close to the first three in the series!
