Publisher's Summary

Angel was whisked away from a life of abuse as a child when a guardian angel flew her in his arms and gave her to a Lycan couple to raise and love as their own. It was inevitable that she developed feelings for her elusive savior, the GarLycan who protects her pack. As she matured, those feelings deepened to something more after spending time with him, only to be rebuffed by her hero.

Dejected, Angel left the pack, moving away to distance herself from the pain. Now, years later, her mother has called her home. Their pack guardian is in need....

Creed is emotionally distant and cold. He's had to become that way to survive his harsh life. His one weakness is Angel. She deserves a happy life, something that he can't give her. He was born into servitude and isn't allowed to take a mate. But, every 30 years he goes into one night of heat. The ravage is upon him, and Angel is determined to be there for him.

He'll take her to his lair, chain her down, and finally be able to touch her....

Creed and Angel soon discover their one night of bliss has dangerous consequences.

so cute

forbidden Love it's a classic and a fun twist to it. for the story what's most fun about this classic form of a story and tail is how much the rest of the world doesn't realize how much Creed actually cares so the concept of the mother is also wonderful for the story where you get a fun-loving freewheeling woman fully comfortable with sexuality and encourages her daughter to be especially when going after the man she wants and emphasizing that sometimes just that one opportunity is better than no opportunity ever the story is adorable and I loved it and I like that the reason why the characters were fighting about being with each other had valid real-world consequences in this universe wasn't just a oh my dad will be mad. but it was against the law because of his own circumstances not because of race or anything like that just his job meant he couldn't have a mate yet so good as always would highly recommend.

I don't want to sound like a broken record but I'm loving this series. It's fun, hot and different which is a great combo! Creed & Angel were a sort of second chance romance which is a favorite of mine! Sad that i'm almost done.
The narration as always is great!!!

5 Creed Stars

I said it before and I will say it again this series is outstanding! I want more… No wait… I NEEEEED more.

I loved the dynamic in this book, I loved that Angel is totally a kick arse chick. She knew her story from a young age and went with it.

Sure she had some hard choices to make when she was young because she knew she couldn’t stay where she was because her heart was broken. But she picked herself back up and was stronger for it.

Creed.. Well now.. I said it before … I love the brooding ones. Hehe and boy oh boy is Creed king of the brood. But again it’s understandable because of his background.

I LOVED the end, I won’t say why because I don’t want to give anything away. But it was nice to see a little bit of unity when there might not have been.

Savannah Richards knocks this series out of the park she really does a great job giving us all such unique voices for these unique characters.

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Light and fun

This was a lighthearted and fun read. The female lead character was well developed and spunky.
Creed, although totally into self denial was still snagged by Angel's love and his love for her.

Creed

I listened to this twice! Was as good as Aveoth. The narrator captured Creed’s naïveté perfectly. It was a sweet story and very emotional.

Interesting premise but crashed and burned for me

I am only about 45 minutes into this book and already I am absolutely ready to give up. The narrator is one of the worst I've listened to. And I usually give myself a chance to get used to a new narrator. But every sentence sounds like she is coming to a sad conclusion. Her cadence is totally predictable and there is no real storytelling variation to her tone. I could not stomach her voice one minute longer, and it takes a lot for me to quit a book. But the narrator is not the only reason I am giving up. Let me just say that I'm not opposed to strong language and I love a sizzling scene as much as and sometimes more than the next person. But when the female is constantly referring to parts of herself with words that I rarely hear women casually use, it is a bit of cold water. Sensual language, for me, needs to add to or enhance the mood, not shock or splash cold water. It made me look back to see if a man was the author, but no... So it just wasn't for me. I will be absolutely sure not to get this narrator again. As for the author, it's a maybe

Best of the Series

Although I usually just "rate & run" I have to comment on this book because I don't understand all the negative reviews. I almost skipped over this very enjoyable novel. This is worth the one credit.
