Publisher's Summary
Cross: I'm the guy whose name brings fear into the hearts of even the hardest men. They call me Cross because I've killed enough men to fill a cemetery, and I never saw any problem with that. Until a woman I hardly remember brought my 11-year-old daughter that I didn't know existed to my doorstep and left her for me to take care of.
At first, my daughter was a complication I didn't need, but now I'll do everything I can to raise her right. I'll even stay away from her hot-as-sin guidance counselor Roxanne, who makes me feel like I'm 20 again, and not pushing 40. Which isn't to say I wouldn't show her what a real man can do with a woman like her.
Roxie: My father was the president of an outlaw MC, and until I turned 21, a world of bikers, mayhem, and crime was all I knew. Then a rival gang destroyed it all, killed my family and everyone I held dear, and made me the property of a brutal, ruthless man. I ran away, got an education, and haven't looked back.
Now I'm the guidance counselor at a small-town junior high school, my old life so far behind me it might as well be someone else's past, and I was happy to leave it there. But then I met Cross, the bad-boy biker father of one of my wayward students. He makes me yearn for the life I lost, crave all the excitement that used to be my everyday. Makes me want to be a bad girl again, if only for one night. But I won't go down that road again. It doesn't lead anywhere good.

Aiden Snow is Great wish he was narrated more
Aiden Snow ❄️ is great, Stephanie Rose not so much.. don’t get me wrong she’s ok just needs to get more into her character.. she made it feel so nauseating tone to hear anything this female character had to say wish was difficult since she was the main character .. he tone never changed it’s didn’t matter if it was a sex scene or her trying to be flirting in my opinion she just didn’t help bring the story to life like some narrators do. I’ve been looking for more MC Biker Audiobooks to come out with Thriller, suspense, club bunny drama where the new female characters put them in their place. This didn’t have all that but at least it had a lil more club action pack in it.. could turn that up a lot more.. I guess I have a lil darkness in me when it comes to Mc club books. I like it when a MC Biker book gets you so wrapped up in the suspense that you forgot to take the time to eat your dinner lol .. this is my first listen to one of Lena Bourne books hoping to see or hear more

Cross my heart!!
This book was very entertaining. The author was new to me and glad I gave it a shot. I knew both narrators and wasn't disappointed.
Not a lot of angst but the story was good and lots of naughtiness and a good listen.
Cross is the president of a biker family who is all male and alpha and has a preteen daughter he unexpectedly has to care for. His temperamental daughter sets the stage for meeting Roxie.
Aiden Snow sounded really good as Cross.
Roxie is the daughter of another biker family who survived a family tragedy and the story is about what takes place 6 years after her tragedy. This is when she meets Cross and the heat is on.
It's a fast listen and the story doesn't drag on. If there's a book 2 in the series I would listen. Go Cross with your badself!

The women narrator drove me crazy. Horrible. I wanted to love the story but she is not my cup of tea and I see shes on the rest. The only reason I will continue to listen is Aiden Snow!!

Enjoyed the story. struggled with narration
For the most part I liked the story. The intrigue. The twists. I, personally, did not get the chemistry with the couple which made the seggsy times felt disjointed to me. I like Virginia Rose as a narrator but this isn't my favorite work of hers.

Cross & Roxie
Enjoyed the backstory. Loved that there was more than on happy outcome for Roxie, but I actually would have liked more. It felt like something was missing in the story, but I just can't put my finger on it.
good narration
