Publisher's Summary

Gotrek and Felix audiobook three.

An encounter with an old friend of Gotrek's leads the Slayer and his human companion north into the Chaos Wastes. There they will face their greatest adventure yet and the most fearsome foe they can imagine.

Listen to it because: this is the book that brings in loads of the elements of classic Gotrek and Felix - Snorri Nosebiter, Malakai Makaisson, Ulrika Magdova and Max Schrieber all make their first appearances. Plus it's a cracking tale in its own right, with a truly epic conclusion.

The story: Gotrek and Felix: unsung heroes of the Empire, or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between and depends entirely upon whom you ask....

Gotrek and Felix join an expedition northwards in search of the long-lost dwarf hold of Karag Dum. Setting forth for the hideous Realms of Chaos in an experimental dwarf airship captained by an insane Slayer-Engineer, the heroic pair is sworn to recover the ancient treasures or die in the attempt. But darkness awaits them in Karag Dum, along with the greatest battle of Gotrek's life....

Written by William King. Narrated by Jonathan Keeble.

Have been expecting this one!

I’ve listened to Trollslayer and Skavenslayer and absolutely loved them. I was wondering when this one would release and had been checking every so often. The action-packed story is brought to life via the excellent narration!

Loved it better than the first book but not my favourite, as it does not have enough of gray seer thankil

Another One.

William Kings climaxes hit different. I was surprised that this was somehow better than skavinslayer.

Excellent narration, wonderful story!

the narrator voices the characters expertly really driving in the immersion. the story is what I have come to expect of the slayer series, an action packed adventure with grim undertones.

Fly over the chaos wastes

This collection of Felix and Gotreks adventures has them aboard a zeppelin like craft made and piloted by the mad slayer/engineer Malaki Makaisson. The dwarves seek out lost treasure in the fallen dwarf city of Karag Dum. I could be more specific, but my memory isn’t as great listening as it is reading. You meet a cast of new characters. Snorri Nosebitter being one of the most memorable for me.

The performance was fantastic.

If you really want to up the experience when they fly over the wastes play the song blood, milk and sky by white zombie. Just listening to the audiobook I could imagine that song fitting along with the horrors that are described in the novel. Grease paint and monkey brains is also a good fit.

In this book the story take a epic turn and it is awesome. The skavens lurking in the backstory bulding revange is a nice touch. You wont belive what happen!
