Publisher's Summary
We're a match made in hell, Stefan and I.
He took me to exact his revenge. I went from being a pawn to my father to being a pawn to Stefan. The only difference is I have a ring the size of a boulder on my finger and a husband I don't want.
And the hardest part is I thought he was different. I thought I was falling in love.
I guess my father was right. I'm not a very smart girl.
Stefan is a powerful man. He doesn't play nice, not if you're his enemy. But I've learned one thing about my husband.
He takes care of what's his.
And I am his.
His enemies have become my enemies, but he'll never let anyone hurt me. He's fiercely protective. It's the predator inside that scares me.

Excellent and captivating conclusion. Book 2 of 2
I always worry about being let down when there are two part books but Natasha Knight certainly delivered. Once again I had to binge listen to this story because I couldn't get enough. I definitely plan to read more from this author. Narration was excellent.

Mafia/revenge/captive story
This story is one of my favorite tropes, dark mafia! It is book 2 of the duet. And as conclusions go, it's good. I prefer the alpha to be a bit less mean with his heroine. Stefan is too hard on Gabriella for too long. The consent is dubious and he is hot and cold a lot. But it is a good read. It is full of betrayals, secrets and revenge and as usual the boy gets the girl.

so much damage
lots of action in this one. .. thought the bird cage would hold more tricks though. Stefan and Gabbie get their HEA, but the ending has much action. Lots of mafia guns and risk of life ... is Rafi a good guy or bad guy ... family lines blur all that.

Dark and twisted mafia romance
This was a dark and twisted, fantastic conclusion to this mafia duet. I loved the characters, was deeply invested in the story, and had all sorts of feels. I think the narration was perfect. I'll be looking for more from this author.

Twisty Conclusion to the Duet
Overall 3.5 stars
Performance 4.5 stars
Story 3 stars
I couldn't wait to get back to Gabriela and Stefan's story after the end of Collateral. The story picks up right where the first book left off and there are lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing throughout. You're never quite sure who to trust and every time you think you know where loyalties lie, Natasha Knight will throw a curve ball at you.
As much as I enjoyed the characters, I'm still not sure how to feel about Stefan. He's protective and alpha, but he also takes what he wants unapologetically and there were a few times where there was questionable consent between him and Gabriela. I'm not sure I would really call it love between them. Up until the end, it felt more like a case of Stockholm syndrome. Stefan's entire story line with Clara felt unnecessary and was just plain icky. I really liked the the familial twist at the end though and didn't see it coming at all. Unfortunately, the overall pacing of the story was a bit slow for me and made the story feel unnecessarily long. Things wrap up very quickly at the end, but the epilogues (yes, there's more than 1!) were a great way to close this duet. Wen Ross and Mackenzie Cartwright were amazing again and I really enjoyed their narration. Wen Ross especially gave an enthusiastic and emotional performance. Overall, this was an entertaining duet, but I enjoyed book 1 more.

Damage
Although book one was very good, this book was much better. Stefan moved up their wedding date and Gabriela receives a rather unusual gift at their reception dinner. Someone close to Stefan betrays him and Gabriela plays into his hands. She was such an immature brat who, at times, got on my last nerve. She kept secrets from Stefan that only caused trouble for her, given the line of work he was in. He tried hard to protect her. Wen Ross and Mackenzie Cartwright did an outstanding job with the narration.

Whom can you trust?
I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. I finished the first book of this duet and immediately started this second book. I could not put it down, I must admit that I didn't even stop to listen to my soap operas. This story is also filled with intrigue, great sadness, betrayal, doubts concerning who to trust, and simmering love that turns into hot sex. Stefan and Gabriela are still trying to deal with tragedies from their past and now there are even more in the present. Stefan has to deal with mafia issues that threaten his and Gabriela's lives. This story is filled with twists and turns that may surprise the listener. The narrators are perfect choices for this book. They portray the emotions of the characters and bring them to life. They definitely made this a listening pleasure. I highly recommend this Audible book!

Enjoyable
The narration in this book is amazing!! Wen and Makenzie are a fabulous team, and the emotion you can feel from their narration is wonderful!
The story itself is very well written. I really enjoyed the first book, this one was not as enjoyable, but still very good. I am shamelessly in love with Stefan, and Gabriella is a well written character.

Emotional Rollercoaster
Natasha Knight you did it again! I absolutely loved book 2! I wanted to scream and hug Rafa throughout the entire book. Stephen grew even more on me. The last hour I kept saying to myself there better not be a cliffhanger! Absolutely loved the ending. It was perfect.
The narrators did a great job. Wen Ross and thay sexy voice of his! Wen and Mackenzie did an awesome job bringing out the different characters. I cried like a big ol baby throughout.

This book was so good!!!
I love the characters I love the plot what I love most about it is the people who read it sound made it feel like you were in the story. I was so disappointed in the first book I read by you when Salvatore died. I thought about that for days how he missed out on seeing his family but he spoke his death into existence. But I remember what you said about your books and I love collateral and to finish it off with damage was just the Pinnacle of the series. So so good!

Needed this conclusion!
Oh what an ending. I was not very patient in my waiting for the conclusion of these characters. Waiting for the conclusion to this duet nearly killed me! Collateral hooked me in and I needed to know everything!
Kai and Wen brought the chemistry between the characters to life and had me completely emerged in it the whole time! They hands down one of my favorite narrating duos! I will listen to anything they narrate!
As far as the story, I was a little disappointed in the Stefan. I was hoping in the conclusion of the story for some huge turning point with him in his relationship with Gabriella, where we see the shift of the controlling asshole to someone who has fallen madly in love with her. While yes, we see where he very clearly cares for her, the Stefan we meet in Collateral is still very much there most of Damage and I just don’t know if there was ever a big point of him (I guess you could say) redeeming himself.
Overall - amazing listen! I would highly recommend to those who like their romance a little on the dark side!
