I like the style of writing by a newbie who is someone to look out for in future books. His vision is clear and his way with words help the reader to become acquainted with Daniel and his love for family and nature, both here and in the afterlife.

I recommend listening to this book an hour at a time or reading 2 or 3 chapters a day. I had to listen to it twice. It was familiar like something you’ve mulled over yourself in the quiet times.

The main character is full of life and a good friend to many but with some vices that endanger his life. His family is most important to him and he comes to realizations about the way he’s been living his life. The author offers a picture of the hereafter and it makes his readers embrace the ideas.

I recommend this book for those who have used drugs and alcohol without thinking about consequences of their behaviour and for families who have dealt with losing a family member or friend.

Exceptional recount from a fathers perspective of the events surrounding a sons untimely death. This spirited story brings the reader into the hard realities of grief, painting it in a rose shade. The novel pulls on familiar strings for anybody who has experienced loss, encouraging self reflection and contemplation.

This is a novel I would strongly recommend to anybody in the throes of mourning. It has a very honest illustration of death, courageously described and hard to put down. The impactful literature reads in a feather light tone that takes the reader on a journey through the “What if?”
