Literary thriller

If you like to read a good thriller with beautifully turned sentences, well-drawn characters, a complex plot, that’s also foregrounded by existential themes pick up a Denise Lehane. If you like mediocre writing, cliched dialogue that rambles on, and pads the pages, or simplistic plots, read any number of other bestselling mystery writers.
