Publisher's Summary
Thomas and Tasmin, twin siblings hired to oversee a wedding feast in Cana, worry when the host runs out of wine...until a guest tells Tasmin to have the servants fill the pitchers by the gate with water from the cistern. Reluctantly, she obeys and is amazed when rainwater turns into the finest wine ever tasted in Cana.
When Thomas impulsively decides to follow the teacher from Nazareth, he and Tasmin argue - since the twins have been together since the womb, Tasmin can't accept losing her brother to some magician-prophet. Aided by Jude, younger brother to Jesus of Nazareth, she decides to follow the Nazarene's group and do whatever she must to mend the fractured relationship and bring her brother home.

Wonderful
The book was fantastic. I listened to it a week before Christmas. It was refreshing to hear an inspirational story amidst the negative news of 2020.
The narration was great.both narrators brought the characters to life. I could see the movie play out as I listened to them. Great job!

Another hit by Hunt
Angela Hunt has never disappointed me, I have listened to all of her books, this one about Jesus, I loved the emphasis on all the healings Jesus did while on earth. I hope she writes a sequel to this one, feeling like there is a whole story waiting to be written with the remaining characters.

wonderful story - enlightened me to some details of the bible, and made me really think about what it would have been like to be a brother of Jesus! Thank you

Wonderful Imagery
This book really brought to life a potential sideline stories of the people that crossed paths with Jesus Christ. The inner thoughts, doubt, searching for answers are believable.

Nice introduction to biblical narrative
The author has written many books and has vast knowledge and understanding of biblical passage and their possible meanings.
i think i was slightly dissapointed with the way she tried to link the characters to every possible encounters, didn't seem realistic even for that time (although nothing is impossible to God).
Nonetheless, I was expecting another layer of depths to the understanding of the scriptures and no simplistic explanation, anyways i was jist slightly dissapointed, but that's on me having a certain degree of expectations. i alos felt the author perhaps added too many layers of westernized ways that might not have been true for that time frame.
That said the book overall was a good read/listen and the narrators vouces where pleasant and made the story believable by switchibg from female yo male.
It was a good biblical story.

My first Angela Hunt book
This book was so good!!! I enjoyed the male/female voices reading as it made it even easier to listen to.
I laughed, I was surprised and I fell in love with the characters. As long as it is I couldn’t stop listening! I had already picked up my next book “Esther” before I finished this one! Lol
If you are looking for a quality book to keep you interested and your heart happy this one will surely be for you!

Not accurate to the story of the Bible
The biblical story was so mixed. It does not follow the biblical account. It makes jesus whole mission last a week instead of three years. Even the flow of the early story of Jesus is wrong.

Very nice work of fiction
I went back and forth with this because there are some Biblical inaccuracies but decided to finish it because it is fictional. I enjoyed the story quite much but found it a little difficult how much jealously Jude felt toward Jesus. All in all, am interesting story!

Engaging Biblical fiction
This story is situated within the time frame of Jesus' ministry, as it follows the families of Jesus and Thomas the disciple. I enjoyed the insights into life during that period as well as the thoughtful exploration of possible attitudes and challenges faced by the family members. The story line is woven amid events depicted in the Gospels. Reading was solid, and I would recommend the book.
