Publisher's Summary

The capable, confident, and occasionally ruthless heroine of Daughter of the Pirate King is back in this action-packed audiobook sequel that promises rousing high seas adventures and the perfect dash of magic.

Alosa's mission is finally complete. Not only has she recovered all three pieces of the map to a legendary hidden treasure, but the pirates who originally took her captive are now prisoners on her ship. Still unfairly attractive and unexpectedly loyal, first mate Riden is a constant distraction, but now he's under her orders. And she takes great comfort in knowing that the villainous Vordan will soon be facing her father's justice.

When Vordan exposes a secret her father has kept for years, Alosa and her crew find themselves in a deadly race with the feared Pirate King. Despite the danger, Alosa knows they will recover the treasure first...after all, she is the daughter of the Siren Queen.

In Daughter of the Siren Queen, Tricia Levenseller brings together the perfect mix of thrilling action, tense battle scenes, and a heart-pounding romance.

Amazing Adventure

This audiobook was fantastic! I loved every minute and the narrator took me on the adventure as if I were right there with the crew! I don’t write reviews often, but this book and audio version are one that I will listen to again and again! Don’t pass this one up! It’s the adventure of a lifetime!

Loved it!

honestly can’t rave enough about this series/Tricia Levenseller in general. I first read “Warrior of the Wild” after looking at its summary for a few months when I just really needed a good escape. I started this series finally bc I needed another sure fire escape & honestly pirate siren princess is pretty damn perfect for that

Better than the first book!

This book was even better than the first one! I love all of the changes in setting. Levenseller is definitely making up for the lack of changes in book 1.

I love all of the new characters from Alosa’s pirate crew! Badass, strong, feminist lady pirates—sign me up! I enjoyed the backstories of the girls, even the brief ones, and the theme of sisterhood here. This book was also action-PACKED. It started strong and kept up the pace throughout. There were also some enjoyable twists!

My favorite quote:
“You like to make your friends laugh and your enemies cower. You have the power to obtain anything you want, yet you’ve worked hard for everything you have.”
I freaking loved this quote. I so want to embody this characterization.

My only complaint was the ending battle. When all seemed lost, the drama of that was resolved too quickly. The ending with her father seemed anticlimactic, especially for how toxic and abusive their relationship was. That needed to be a way bigger deal to me. The ending, in general, just felt really rushed. I don’t feel a relaxed sense of closure. I feel like the rug was ripped out from under me. I feel like I was in a bookstore at closing time and the owner was rushing me out.

Regardless, Levenseller is a great talent and I will definitely be checking out more of her books!

this was an amazing experience

oh my goodness I will try and read this or rather listen to this as I was going to bed and the action sequences were so incredibly nerve-wracking intense I couldn't go to sleep! in the romance was sweet and daring it was challenging it was fraught with confusion and emotion it .. .was just an all-around great read... the camaraderie between the sailors on the Ava Lee was just wonderful! That's what you call friendship goals! love love loved it

Didn't Quite Meet Expectations

I liked Daughter of the Pirate King, despite there not being quite enough pirating. This book takes potential complexity of some characters and flattens them into paper. It's still a decent story, but the one surprise happens very early on and the rest of the book feels like fallout. Alosa and her crew are still interesting to follow in their adventures, but the plot and ending lack some of the complexity I was expecting and hoping for. #Adventure #FamilyDrama #Tagsgiving #Sweepstakes

Amazing narration, the book? not so much

The narrator did a great job! it was fun and fast paced but, tbh, I liked the first one much more! I think the main issue was that my expectations were super high after the first book and I wanted more from the storyline but anyway its a good pirate story and who does not like that?
If you are looking for something light, fun and quick to read I would totally recommend you pick this book !
