be prepared to live the life of David Copperfield

I've heard about this story over the years, but never got a chance to read it. Being dyslexic didn't help either.
Now having listened to the whole 35 hours of its narration has made such an impression on me.
Absolutely wonderful story with incredible narration by Derek Perkins. Each character jumps out and is easily detectable by Derek Perkins slight changes in accent and pitch.
I highly praise Derek Perkins's narration.
